What are the costs?
You can have numerous sites being built in the staging area for free.
When a site goes live it costs $39/month which is usually paid by the client. (unless you are white labelling the service)
With live sites, we regularly update the core WordPress files, themes and plugins, we monitor security, take regular backups, install an SSL certificate and make sure zone records are set up correctly. The site can live at the domain of your choice.
